Recording- Tech

Step 1
I used a pencil to sketch and a ruler to make a full size working drawing of my box.

Step 2
I used a ruler to copy  the measurements from my drawing onto the paper.

Step 3
I marked a square line at (90 degrees) across by using a trisquare.

Step 4
I then cut off the first piece of wood by using a saw .

Step 5
I then cut out the joints by using a chisel.

Step 6
I put a peace of wood on the joint and glued it in.

Step 7
I then waited 30 minutes for it to dry so then Mr Grundy stuck a peace of thin wood to the side of my project using glue.

That was the last step for my project but I had more to do. But time was over and Mr Grundy said he will finish it of.

Going Kayaking😊.

Today on Friday 9th of August 2019 Room 12 went kayaking.

We learned how to paddle and how to get on the boat. After getting on the boat we started hovering to the water and we started paddling. While we were paddling we kept on bumping into each other. Most of the students were falling of the boat but Konzay was the first. I fell off once and the water was freezing but I had to swim to the side because I was sinking.

We had so much fun it made us tired and some were still tired when we arrived back at school.

  • Fa’afetai or Fa’afetai tele – Thank you
  • Ou te alofa ia te oe – I love you
  • Ia vave ona e manuia – Get well soon
  • Fa’amolemole – Please
  • Fa’amalie atu – Sorry
  • Malō, Malō soifua or Tālofa – Hello
  • Fā or Tōfā or Tōfā soifua – Goodbye
  • A malu i fale, e malu i fafo – Respect yourself and others will

My favourite clock was the sundial clock because when the sun moves around the sundial a person can use the shadow to tell the time.

First Day Of School 2019

On Monday 4th February 2019 I started school. I was very excited to go to school to see my friends and meet the new principal.
As I walked down the hallway I was really excited and nervous at the same time. When I walked into class my first words were "Good morning Mr Reid."
This year I am finally in intermediate so I have to show respect and be a good role model to the smaller children.
