NZ Scientists Discover A Giant Extinct Parrot

On August 7th 2019, New Zealand scientists discovered an extinct giant parrot.

This gigantic parrot is 1 metre long and has a massive beak that could break food sources. They named the parrot Heracles Inexpectatus because it's huge.

The fossils are  twice the size of a kākāpō, which means this parrot is the largest of all.
