My Teacher

In my class I have Fantastic and Unique teacher called Mrs Mitchell. She has started being our teacher since week 1 this term (Term 4). Although it is a short amount of time but we learned so many things the past few weeks. She taught me how to pronounce ERS and SS while I'm reading. At times she will compliment us about how we look and act in class, but she is very funny with her words. She is a very talkative person but I don't think she knows that yet. I find her as a confident person.

Cat May Win New Zealander of the Year

A celebrity cat named Mitten's is running to be New Zealander of the year.

Mittens is a Turkish Angora cat who wonders around shops, office towers and churches in Wellington. Mitten's basically become famous for wondering around the cities and for his looks.

On his Facebook page he gained 50,000 followers with many locals tracking Mittens daily activities around.

I find it really funny to just see a Cat win New Zealander of the year.

My Dad

My dad is the type of man who will provide for his family. He will come home from work and cook me and family some food to eat. At times he spoils me and my siblings if we've done something good or when his payment has arrived. He helps my family with things they need but don't have. His favorite food is KFC. Honestly, every time he wants to eat he gets it.One fact about my dad is that he loves to drink Mountain Dew.

Volleyball Tournament

Yesterday 5 of August, my team an I went to the volleyball inter school.

We had a year 5/6 team and year 7/8 team. It was held at Barfoot and Thompson stadium. Our first game we had to verse Pamnure district, we won by 14 to 11 points. We won 4 games and lost 2 games. It was frustrating when we lost but it also felt good winning against Point England school for the first time in forever. We had a lot of fun and it was really good to win 4 games.

Control Tech Pt 3

Last week Wednesday we went tech as usual.

In my tech group we were discussing and deciding with our teacher Mr Daniels what we need to do in order to make the LED explode. He says that if the simulation or a resistor is wrong it will probably explode. We went through our lesson step by step and we figured it all out. We made sure that the simulation was right and the resistor was at the right amount.

It was really confusing but we achieved it.

Pests Control Lesson

Image result for tunnel pest
Last Friday 13 March 2020 we had Frazer again.

Frazer wasn't here to tell us that we're going on another trip. Frazer was here to teach us about pests control . We first had to look at Pest traps like chew cards, tunnels, and an orange poison pest trap. We gathered up with the Room 7 students to walk around our school and put down tunnels to see what type of pests are around our school.

We really enjoyed Frazer coming and giving us a pest control lesson. By the end of our lesson we were each given little bags that had some of the  traps that we learnt about and we even had to make our own tunnels.

World’s Only Pink Manta Ray

They say this creature is the only pink Manta Ray in the world.
A photographer named  Kristen Laien pictured this while she was diving Australia's great barrier.

Despite she may look small but she is humagise. This stingray is 3.3 meters some say it was difficult to find in the five year since it was noticed.

But I believe that around this world there are many more where this pink Stingray came from.

Wood Tech

Yesterday on 26th of February me and my group went to Wood Tech.

We were looking at cool liquid metal that can be shaped as something or someone as long there is no hole in it .We are learning to create necklaces for your family, yourself or friends.

We've been writing names of people who were giving the necklaces to. We have to write down 4 things about of what they like.

In the end I think it's going to be really cool.
