My Teacher

In my class I have Fantastic and Unique teacher called Mrs Mitchell. She has started being our teacher since week 1 this term (Term 4). Although it is a short amount of time but we learned so many things the past few weeks. She taught me how to pronounce ERS and SS while I'm reading. At times she will compliment us about how we look and act in class, but she is very funny with her words. She is a very talkative person but I don't think she knows that yet. I find her as a confident person.

Control Tech Pt5

So today my class and room 7 went tech for the first week of term 3 and I will tell you I did an amazing job.

So for my group we are now working on a little program called mlink. So basically we are trying to test ourselves to see if the decomposition at least that what "Mr Daniels call it" to work.

None of us is really sure if it's correct or wrong.

The Six Photos

Six Photos is an article by Dylan Owen.

In this article there are Six Photo on each page, that is why its called Six Photo. On each photos they tell a whole different story to it . There was one about a woman named Irini Kemara( Irini means peace in English) . Her story is about her tattoo's and how she is confident about it.

To these six photos they have there own unique and incredible story to it
I find this article very interesting and amazing, not just because the different story's they have but the many experience they been threw of doing this .

Control Tech

small battery operated lights – lovetoread.me

Today at Tech I had the most confusing lesson ever.

Mr Daniels my Tech teacher talked to us about LED lights . He showed us a few thing before he explained to us  how to go on his website and tech us about things on Tinker cad. It was really confusing but we had to complete even though. We had 3 goals to do we all the completed 1st and 2nd one, but the 3rd goal was quite hard. Some of us didn't get to complete the 3rd goal.

Pests Control Lesson

Image result for tunnel pest
Last Friday 13 March 2020 we had Frazer again.

Frazer wasn't here to tell us that we're going on another trip. Frazer was here to teach us about pests control . We first had to look at Pest traps like chew cards, tunnels, and an orange poison pest trap. We gathered up with the Room 7 students to walk around our school and put down tunnels to see what type of pests are around our school.

We really enjoyed Frazer coming and giving us a pest control lesson. By the end of our lesson we were each given little bags that had some of the  traps that we learnt about and we even had to make our own tunnels.

Praying Mantises Get 3D Glasses

A group of scientist have created an 3D glasses for praying mantises. They created it to help praying mantises catch food. They tried testing the 3D glasses and see if it works by putting it on them and trying not to hurt it. If this experiment does work then they will try to  do something with it.

Hamlins Hill Field Trip

Last Friday 28th of February the intermediate classes went on field trip to Hamlin's Hill.

We climbed up the hill, looked around and talked about traps for pests. Frazier explained to us how these traps work and what they do to pests. We walked around the forest and found little ribbons that were blue and pink. Frazier said that the blue ribbon was for clues and pink was for pests.

Frazier then tells us to look around for tunnels ,chew cards,Black wavy cardboard and poisoned plastic.I was very interested in the chew card because its has peanut butter on the side of the card that can track and know what pests came and ate it.

We had a lot of fun and we all felt tired because of walking up the hills.

Wood Tech

Yesterday on 26th of February me and my group went to Wood Tech.

We were looking at cool liquid metal that can be shaped as something or someone as long there is no hole in it .We are learning to create necklaces for your family, yourself or friends.

We've been writing names of people who were giving the necklaces to. We have to write down 4 things about of what they like.

In the end I think it's going to be really cool.
