Wood Tech

Yesterday on 26th of February me and my group went to Wood Tech.

We were looking at cool liquid metal that can be shaped as something or someone as long there is no hole in it .We are learning to create necklaces for your family, yourself or friends.

We've been writing names of people who were giving the necklaces to. We have to write down 4 things about of what they like.

In the end I think it's going to be really cool.

Recording- Tech

Step 1
I used a pencil to sketch and a ruler to make a full size working drawing of my box.

Step 2
I used a ruler to copy  the measurements from my drawing onto the paper.

Step 3
I marked a square line at (90 degrees) across by using a trisquare.

Step 4
I then cut off the first piece of wood by using a saw .

Step 5
I then cut out the joints by using a chisel.

Step 6
I put a peace of wood on the joint and glued it in.

Step 7
I then waited 30 minutes for it to dry so then Mr Grundy stuck a peace of thin wood to the side of my project using glue.

That was the last step for my project but I had more to do. But time was over and Mr Grundy said he will finish it of.

What we did in wood work

On Wednesday 2019 me and my group went tech .

We did wood work with Mr Thomas. Mr Thomas was a re-leaver for  Mr Grundy.

We learnt how to use the tools before we get hurt and we learn how to carry the tools before we hurt someone else.We learn how to cut wood and where to place the joint.

I liked my drawing because it was straight and other people can understand what it was .
